Plant sale, stranger things, and date night

The weekend started early with a plant sale where we picked up carrots, broccoli, green onions, lettuce, bell peppers, spicy peppers, herbs, two kinds of tomato, and four kinds of flowers. I’m pretty sure I’ll need to learn canning and how to make salsa with all the vegetables we’ll have this year. Winter was not kind and killed three of my shrubs, leaving one determined shrub to shade the new flowers. Of course, I had supervision from the furry duo, who watched and offered serious faces, which I took to mean moral support.

Our next stop was a Stranger Things themed coffee shop. Getting a downside-up frappuccino, we checked out the decor and headed out.

The final stop for the day was a lovely Italian restaurant with amazing food and unique cocktails. I’m never one to pass up on scratch-made food, and this was well worth the wait for a table in the coveted restaurant. I especially liked the olive trees, which added to the vibe.

The next day was shopping and lunch. I bought my first blind date with a book and felt like Christmas morning, unwrapping all the little gifts tucked inside. It was a fun-filled weekend that went by far too fast.
