After a very busy Christmas that was fun-filled but a crazy amount of cooking because who doesn’t need a brown sugar citrus ham, twice-baked potato casserole, green beans, sausage and herb stuffing, peach cobbler, and cranberry margaritas on Christmas day? Needless to say, I was ready for someone else to cook dinner, and we decided it was time for a night out on the town. Of course, like many, I consider Italian food to be a top favorite, so we opted for some fine dining. The appetizer was a filling crab-stuffed avocado, one of the more unique meal starters I’ve had. I went with a blackberry bourbon cocktail, which was so good I nearly had two. The entrees were amazing, leaving little room for the desserts, which were savored but quickly eaten. After the meal, we happened to find a lovely green backdrop nearby and snapped a couple of photos together.
